Complex on-site requirements: different roof inclinations, orientations and weather influences

CEO GM Solar‘With the S-Dome Small and MiniRail, we were able to optimally solve the requirements on this demanding type of building with its various inclinations and orientations. The S-Dome Small offers a simple 10° elevation for the trapezoidal sheet metal and with the MiniFive elevation on the MiniRail we have tilted the modules by an additional 5°. This was important for a good cleaning of the modules in case of rain and for a fast sliding of the snow cover in case of heavy snowfall, as it occurs in the region around Turin. Furthermore, with this combination we achieved a comparatively low load of 12 kg/sqm,’ says Ing. Giuseppe Guida, Managing Director GM Solar.


‘The PV system with its nominal power of 1.317 kWp, in addition to satisfying part of its energy needs, allows a reduction of CO2 emissions into the atmosphere of 800 tons per year. Part of the energy produced will be used to recharge electric cars. A great result for our client and an exciting project, in which we were once again able to show how we, as EPC contractor, develop tailor-made solutions!’
