In this video, we show you the basic possibilities of drawing Module Fields in K2 Base for your photovoltaic projects. This is done in the “Design” section. We explain the difference between a full roof (entire roof) and manually drawn module fields and go into advantages and disadvantages. The module field size can be automatically adjusted to the modules.
Each module field can also be changed manually to optimise the amount of modules for the available roof area. The module fields can be placed or moved freely and optimally around any obstacles on the roof. Obstacles that are already prepared are automatically left out of the module field and module placement. In the 2D view, the dimensions of a field can also be entered numerically by the quantity of modules in horizontal and vertical direction. There are also various options for viewing dimensions here.
