2 Post Sizes

Posts are included in the kits, 4.5″ for flat tile, 6″ for S & W tile.

For rolled asphalt or comp shingle roofs, you can choose which height you prefer.

Rafter or Deck Optional

It’s always best practice to secure the roof attachment to the rafters, but if you need the flexibility of attaching to the deck, you can do so by installing all 6 screws into the base.

In addition to the 2 center holes for rafter attached, the other 4 holes are angled slightly to increase the pullout values when attached to the decking.

Sealing Methods

When installing the Drop N Lock to tile, no additional sealant is needed. The K2 EverSeal provides the waterproofing you need.

When installing on flat roofs, some installers prefer to add an extra layer of precaution. You can pair it with the 4″ Chem Link E-Curb and fill the curb with M-1.
