Rather than your typical cap and pan style. K2’s TRFs completely overlap the adjacent tiles to ensure no water enters to the mount. The tabs are used to overlap the adjacent tiles and secure the flashing in place.

The S and W Tile Replacement Flashings have pre-cut tabs in the valley of the flashing to allow for the hook to pass through. So you don’t need any tin snips with these profiles.
