Special construction realised for a solar system on a greenhouse

01/09/2017 Münster, Germany

Together with B&W Energy, K2 Systems planned a special substructure for a greenhouse at the beginning of the year. The special feature of this special construction was the requirement to connect the PV system to the metal scaffolding and the guttering of the greenhouse.

What was appealing about this project was the attachment of the mounting system to the existing metal scaffolding. For this, one of our experienced employees designed a special angle in close coordination with the photovoltaic specialists of the installer B&W Energy, which connects the scaffolding to the necessary rail and ensures an appropriate load-bearing capacity. In combination with the CrossRail 62 rail, the Climber and the Triangle triangles, a reliable and quick-to-assemble solution was created, summarises Rainer Ebenho, project manager at K2 Systems.

Impressions

The metal frame of the greenhouse is visible.

2,499 modules were attached to it.

In addition to the CrossRail track and the triangles for special solutions, the design includes the specially developed angle.

The composition of the construction.

The PV system produces 749.7 kWp.

These are fed in completely.
