Voluntary. Transparent. Aligned with EU standards.

K2 Systems has published its first structured sustainability report in accordance with the Voluntary Sustainability Reporting Standard for SMEs (VSME). By taking this step, the company is providing transparent insights into its environmental, social and governance (ESG) performance and progress, going beyond current regulatory requirements.

The report combines both qualitative and quantitative data, offering a clear picture of how sustainability is embedded in K2’s daily operations. “The energy transition requires not only the right products, but also companies that take responsibility for their own footprint,” says Co-CEO Katharina David.

This initiative is driven by conviction rather than obligation. K2 views transparency and responsible business practices as essential foundations for sustainable corporate development and for building trust among customers, partners and employees. The report already highlights several tangible achievements:

100% of electricity consumption is sourced from renewable energy.
• Around 90% of the company vehicle fleet is already electric.
• The low turnover rate of 15.6 % – half the 30 % German average – highlights high employee satisfaction.

The sustainability report demonstrates that responsibility at K2 is more than a commitment on paper. It is an integral part of the company’s culture and daily operations.
