The K2 Base planning tool now includes a new input field that allows users to define the maximum permissible permanent pressure on the thermal insulation. If this threshold is exceeded, an additional number of Mat S protection mats can automatically be added to the material list. This enables a more even distribution of the load—directly integrated into the planning process.

For projects with particularly high requirements for pressure distribution, the LoadSolver was developed: a 200 mm long Mat S with an integrated adapter. It is inserted crosswise under the K2 BasicRail using the simple Twist & Lock principle and, thanks to its wider contact surface, ensures even more efficient load distribution on the existing insulation.

The proven advantages of the Mat S—such as its shear-soft function and high coefficient of friction—are fully retained. The LoadSolver is calculated and optimized for each project by K2. The corresponding request form is linked in K2 Base and can be conveniently filled out online.

With these enhancements, the implementation of flat roof projects becomes even safer and more reliable. The new features are now available in K2 Base.
