Application area metal roof tiles

Metal roof tiles combine the look of traditional pitched roofs with the benefits of modern metal solutions. They are lightweight, durable, and highly resistant to extreme weather conditions. Especially in Northern and Eastern Europe, they are widely used, where they perform reliably even under snow, frost, and high loads.

With the FlexAdapter, K2 Systems now offers a mounting solution for installing PV systems on a wide range of metal roof tiles.

Compensating angles with the FlexAdapter

The FlexAdapter can be inserted as an additional component into the K2 BasicRail to compensate for different overlap angles of tile-shaped metal sheets as well as the curvature of barrel roofs. It is connected via the BasicClip and CSM Adapter, an EPDM pad providing support and sealing.

The AntiSlip Clip serves as a sliding lock as well as a module installation aid. In line with the modular K2 principle, the remaining components correspond to the familiar BasicRail system for trapezoidal sheet metal.

The FlexAdapter and CSM Adapter are now available and can be planned in K2 Base for tile-shaped metal roofs.
