‘Implementation of the project was relatively good. Planning was excellent, installation of system took 10 days, earning commendation from the client. Roof reinforcements had to be done to improve structural integrity to hold solar PV system. Stringent emphasis during project execution and operation was placed on health, safety and the environment. Installation was done, preventing any interruption to clients daily business. Shipping and clearing of components could have posed delays, but plans were made well in advance for longer shipping times so there were no surprises’, says Paul Okan-Adjetey, Business Development West Africa of BeBa Africa.
