The key challenge of this project was the high snow loads at the site. To meet these requirements, the K2 D-Dome 6 Classic LS system was selected. Since the system clamps the modules on their long side, it is particularly well suited to withstand high loads.
The PV installation was built on the premises of the Zlatibor Gold Gondola. Stretching nine kilometers, it holds the record as the world's longest gondola lift. It connects the heart of Zlatibor's town center directly to the Tornik ski resort, home to the region's highest peak at 1,496 meters above sea level.
