Energy-efficient broadcasting supply at the mountain ‘La Dôle’.

The ‘La Dôle’ broadcasting facility is located above Nyon in the Swiss canton of Vaud and supplies the population with radio and TV programmes.

Thanks to clever cooling with fresh outside air as well as photovoltaic systems built in June 2018, it is a very energy-efficient broadcasting facility. As a leading full-service provider of turnkey renewable energy solutions, Suntechnics Fabrisolar AG planned and installed the PV system on the building as well as the customised system on the transmission tower.

‘In addition, we take advantage of the high reflection of the snow in which we have used bifacial modules on the transmission tower’, says Olivier Loutan, project manager SunTechnics Fabrisolar.
