Important changes have taken place within the Italian team of K2 Systems: since June 2024, Alessandro Papaianni has assumed the position of Country Manager Italy, leading the team in developing the company’s strategy to strengthen K2’s positioning in the Italian market.

The new Country Manager has a wide experience in the renewable energy and B2B distribution world: prior to joining K2 Systems, Alessandro Papaianni held several roles in important multinational companies operating in the energy and distribution industry; his professional knowledge and strategic vision will be central to enhancing the company’s great achievements in recent years.

MISSION

The new Country Manager’s mission includes identifying growth opportunities in cooperation with local partners, creating value and expanding the distribution network. With the support of the entire team, Alessandro Papaianni will work closely with customers, suppliers, and various stakeholders to further boost business development, while generating synergies. Likewise, he will work to increase brand awareness so that new market segments are reached.

There are many goals and challenges for the new Country Manager and his team: including the analysis of bureaucratic regulations and the specific characteristics of the increasingly competitive Italian photovoltaic market, to which the sales strategies must adapt; as well as the attention to the topic of technological innovations and sustainability: K2 is a company that has embodied a green perspective for twenty years, tirelessly contributing to the process of energy transition that is fundamental to preserving our environmental. One of the intentions to embed this viewpoint within the sales strategies in Italy, mentioning the importance of relying on a company that operates by always bringing both economic and environmental needs to the forefront, developing intelligent and sustainable mounting systems thanks to the use of recycled material and the focus on regional value creation, with the majority of products being manufactured in the EU.
