These would be your tasks

  • You will be responsible for the holistic implementation of the procurement process for defined product groups.
  • This includes processing purchase requisitions in the ERP, creating enquiries, obtaining offers and carrying out offer comparisons.
  • You will support the international supplier selection, evaluation, approval and development process.
  • Price negotiations and the realisation of cost savings on a partnership basis are also part of your job description.
  • You take over the master data maintenance in the ERP within your area of responsibility and strive to optimise the processes in our purchasing department.
  • Within your area of responsibility, you will define the supplier strategy together with the purchasing management and actively implement it.
  • This interesting area of responsibility is rounded off by the cooperation in purchasing and cross-departmental projects.

Your skills

  • Completed business or technical studies; alternatively completed commercial or technical training with corresponding professional experience
  • Purchasing experience, preferably in a metalworking production company
  • Negotiating skills and a confident manner coupled with assertiveness
  • Good knowledge in the use of ERP systems and technical understanding are also required
  • Fluent written and spoken English
  • Team player
