Having already successfully realised several projects in Scandinavia, the establishment of a location in Sweden is a strategically important step for K2. This will enable the Scandinavian market to be optimally served – and customer-friendly support will continue to be guaranteed
“K2 Systems attaches great importance to this emerging market and sees the opening of the Swedish site as a significant opportunity to accelerate the energy transition in the Scandinavian region,” explains Peo Jonsson, Country Manager for the Nordic market. “At K2, we don’t just talk about products, but about holistic systems. With our extensive portfolio, we cover almost all fields of application for the Nordic PV market. At K2, we also talk about throughput times and how we contribute to optimising our customers’ day-to-day work. After all, digitalisation is an essential part of our work,” says Peo Jonsson.
With the new location on the Swedish Baltic coast, the Nordic sales team is gaining two new members at the start of the year.
Peo has been responsible for the Nordic market at K2 for almost 4 years and is looking forward to meeting his new team members. “This is a journey we are embarking on with this new team. The Nordic market is important – with the increase in demands and growth in PV installations, we need to adapt in the best possible way. Now we have created the conditions for better support in all directions and have the opportunity to reach more people,” says Peo
As Area Sales Manager, Jan-Olof is responsible for liaising with our dealers in Sweden. As a PV newcomer, he has many years of sales experience in the industrial production of plastics and hose technology.
He is particularly looking forward to “a well-known company in a really interesting industry. Especially in times like these, I think it’s important to be active in the renewable energy sector,” says Jan-Olof.
In Jimmy Rinta, K2 has gained an experienced PV enthusiast. Jimmy most recently worked in an installation company and is very familiar with the needs and wishes of installers. In the past, he has managed many PV projects for more than 5 years and is looking forward to lively dialogue with our customers and to supporting them with their technical questions about our products and services.
