In this video we show how to change the fastening method in K2 Base for roofs with trapezoidal sheeting, corrugated sheeting or sandwich panels. Basically, we distinguish between fastening in the substructure and fastening in the roof cladding. Depending on the roof substructure and covering, fastening is not always possible in the roof cladding (roofing) or sheet metal covering. In some cases, it is necessary to fix in the substructure – i.e. purlins or rafters. In this case, the SingleRail or SolidRail system is used. If fixing in the sheet metal is possible with thread-forming thin sheet metal screws, we have various mounting solutions. The BasicRail, the MiniRail and the MultiRail system come into question for this.
