In this video, we show the best or fastest way to delete PV modules in K2 Base to optimise module array planning due to obstacles such as skylights, chimneys or air conditioning.
There are several methods to do this. For this we mainly use the eraser Tool from the toolbar. This can be used to click on individual modules or module pairs in D-Dome systems and thus delete them. This is shown with a grey mark. By holding down the Shift key and the eraser tool, a complete column can be deleted. By holding down the Ctrl key (control), a complete row is deleted. If the Alt key is used, a rectangle can be drawn that marks all overlapping modules. In the satellite view, this is always vertical. This is why this function is better in the 2D view, as the module field layout is also vertical here.
