Purchaser (operational purchasing)

You will be responsible for the holistic implementation of the procurement process for defined product groups.
This includes the processing of purchase requisitions in the ERP, the creation of enquiries, the request for quotations and the execution of bid comparisons.
You support the international supplier selection, evaluation, approval and development process.
Price negotiations and the realisation of cost savings on a partnership basis are also part of your job description.
You will be responsible for master data maintenance in the ERP within your area of responsibility and strive to optimise the processes in our purchasing department.
Within your area of responsibility, you will define the supplier strategy together with the purchasing management and actively implement it.
This interesting area of responsibility is rounded off by working on projects across purchasing and departments.

Completed business or technical studies; alternatively completed commercial or technical training with relevant professional experience
Purchasing experience, preferably in a metalworking production company
Negotiating skills and a confident manner coupled with assertiveness
Good knowledge in the use of ERP systems and technical understanding are also required
Fluent written and spoken English
