Increased clearance between module and roof surface

In regions with high ambient temperatures, PV systems on metal sheet roofs may require increased clearance between the module and the roof surface. The additional ventilation improves thermal performance and creates space for extra components.

To meet this need, the K2 RailUp insert provides extra elevation within multiple K2 mounting systems. For integrated height in a single part, the K2 MiniRail 60 has already been available. Now the K2 MultiRail High joins the portfolio as a one-piece elevated option.

MultiRail High: New one-piece elevated option

The proven K2 MultiRail System supports material‑efficient PV installation on trapezoidal and corrugated sheet metal. With the new MultiRail High, which has a height of 100 mm, installers gain increased clearance in thermally demanding environments. The extra space beneath the module also allows the integration of micro‑inverters or power optimizers. The MultiRail High measures 150 mm in length and is secured with four thread‑forming metal screws, ensuring reliable water tightness together with the EPDM sealing.

There are two dedicated versions:

for trapezoidal sheet metal: MultiRail High (2004704)

for corrugated sheet metal: MultiRail High CSM (2004706)
