Installation information

  • Built: March 2017
  • Yield: 749,7 kWp
  • Number of modules: 2,499 modules
  • Roof covering: greenhouse metal framework
  • Elevation angle: South facing with 15 °
  • System solutions: Triangle components + CrossRail 62

In close cooperation with B&W Energy, K2 Systems developed a special substructure for a greenhouse earlier this year. The special feature of this project was the requirement that the PV system should be connected to the metal frame and the eaves of the greenhouse.

"The unique challenge of this project was attaching the mounting system to the existing metal framework. One of our highly experienced employees designed a special angle that connects the framework to the rail and ensures suitable load bearing capacity. This custom design created a quick-to-install solution combining the CrossRail 62, the K2 Climber and the Triangle, " summarises Rainer Ebenho, project manager for K2 Systems.
