Further information on the plant

The 1100 modules are installed on the roofs using the flat roof system. The system achieves a 286 kW output and supplies the 2779 university employees and around 48,000 students with electricity. In particular, the buildings of the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences are equipped with the 15° elevated flat roof system.

With the mounting system, a quick 15° elevation is possible, as the compact component, the so-called module support element S-Rock has an integrated ballast support and does not require any additional pre-assembly. The system is aerodynamically optimised based on wind tunnel tests and only requires the MiniClamp, which can be used universally for all modules.
