Collaboration between two leading manufacturers

The collaboration between roofing manufacturer Sika and mounting system manufacturer K2 Systems stands for a shared goal: innovative and safe solutions for installing PV systems on flat and pitched roofs.
As part of this partnership, new planning options and system variants have been developed for a wide range of applications.

Fixed anchoring on flat roofs

If the roof has a low load-bearing capacity or a pitch of 3° or more, a fixed anchoring of the mounting system is recommended.
With SikaRoof® Anchor, K2 Dome 6 systems can be securely fastened and statically calculated directly in the K2 Base planning software.

Lifted: The K2 Dome 6 Lifted LS System

Developed in close collaboration with Sika, the K2 Dome 6 Lifted LS System is a specialized variant of the K2 Dome 6 System.
It is anchored to the roof and elevated above the roofing membrane, creating a 50 mm gap between the system and the roof surface. This elevation helps to compensate for roof irregularities and simplifies drainage. The module support rail comes from the proven K2 SingleRail family.

New for pitched roofs: K2 SingleRail IFP

The partnership also offers a well-thought-out solution for pitched roofs with membrane or bitumen surfaces:
The new K2 SingleRail IFP (Integrated Fixing Point) connects the K2 SingleRail with the SikaRoof® Anchor, enabling secure fastening for an additional application area.
