New components for K2 WallPV Systems: Faster installation, greater flexibility

18 February 2026 Updates: Products

When installing façade-mounted PV systems, every step counts. The simpler and faster the installation, the more economical the entire project becomes. This is exactly where the latest enhancements to our K2 WallPV Systems come into play. Several components have been upgraded to enable installers to work even more efficiently.

CrossConnector T: 50 % fewer screws

The CrossConnector links the first rail layer (K2 WallPV FacadeRail, MultiRail, PerfoRail or CarrierRail) with the InsertionRail 2.0. Until now, each connector required two screws and two MK2 insertion nuts. With the new CrossConnector T (Item No. 2004812 / 2004813), this effort is cut in half: one screw and one MK2 insertion nut are all it takes.

The result:

• Significant time savings during installation

• Optimized material usage for more cost‑efficient systems

• Improved utilization of façade surface area

• Visually clean finish, as no rail ends are visible at the top or bottom edges of the module field

InsertionRail 2.0: New length, more transport flexibility

The InsertionRail 2.0 for module frame heights of 30 mm and 35 mm is now available in an additional length: 3.65 m. This variant is easier to transport and even fits into smaller vans – ideal for flexible projects and tight construction-site conditions.
