"MiniRail MK2" for the trapezoidal sheet metal

To make installation on pitched roofs even easier for you, our MiniRail system has been given the K2-typical MK2 channel and is now called “MiniRail MK2”.

The new rail channel makes the short rail compatible with our universal OneMid/OneEnd modular clamps.

This means that you can install on the pitched roof with only one module clamp!

Direct to the MiniRail MK2 system

The MiniRail MK2 system impresses with its universality and simplicity for projects on the trapezoidal sheet. The short rail system is statically optimised, can be mounted quickly and easily and the compact, light packing dimensions allow for easy storage and uncomplicated transport.

Fewer components in use

The MiniClamp module clamp is no longer required for the revised MiniRail MK2 version and reduces your portfolio of components.

From now on, use the OneMid/OneEnd clamps that you already use with all other pitched roof systems from us.

Easy connection of optimisers and increase of modules

With the new MiniRail MK2, an elevation with RailUp is possible. This improves the rear ventilation and thus more yield can be achieved. To make the installation of optimisers or micro-inverters simple and uncomplicated, the stair plate can also be used with the new MiniRail MK2.

If you would like to mount the modules horizontally and on the long side, please use our MultiRail system. For a horizontal module orientation with mounting on the short side, please check the module manufacturer’s approval.

The option of elevation by 5° with the MiniFive will be available from autumn.

The new MiniRail MK2 system is now automatically available in the K2 Base planning software.

Please note that for projects with a wind load greater than 2 kN/m² and the use of standard module clamps (item numbers: 1005156; 1003586; 1005345; 1005169; 1005157; 1005169; 1005347; 1005268), you must open the original design (calculation with old MiniRail/2002341) again in K2 Base and recalculate!
