The new SingleHook FlatTile – available now

14 March 2024 Updates: Products

Plain tiles are the oldest roof covering made of clay.

With their wide range of colors and surfaces, they make every roof unique and special. As the tiles overlap more with this type of roofing than with other formats, the material consumption is higher and the roofing may be more cost-intensive.

We have therefore developed a new roof hook that enables a convenient and quick PV installation thanks to its clever design:

Easier

The new SingleHook FlatTile (product no. 2004416) is used for plain tiles and is compatible with the SingleRail. It can therefore be conveniently attached from the side and convinces with its installation speed.

More flexible

The slotted hole in the roof hook makes it easy to adjust the height of the rail and ensures flexibility during the installation.

Stronger

And there’s more: The SingleHook FlatTile has been statically optimized, so fewer roof hooks are required per design. It can also be verified in more regions now.

How is it installed?

The tile under the roof hook is removed and replaced by two metal cover plates. These are available in the colors red (product no. 2004282) and anthracite (product no. 2004440). The cover plates are provided with a butyl strip on the bottom side, which ensures water tightness. Depending on the batten size, the roof hook must be underlaid accordingly.

The SingleRail is then simply connected from the side, rail connectors and module clamps set. So let’s get those modules up on the plain tile roofs!

Already plannable? - Of course!

The SingleHook FlatTile can already be selected in K2 Base under the SingleRail system. This means you can start planning straight away.
