Association work thrives on the support of energetic members.
K2 Systems is now also joining the more than 330 companies and more than 100 private PV enthusiasts in the Bundesverband PV Austria to represent the PV industry with a strong voice in politics, business and the public and to create the necessary framework conditions for one of the most important technologies of the future.
Austria has great ambitions and wants to achieve climate neutrality by 2040. This will require more than 40 terawatt hours (TWh) from photovoltaics – a multiple of current PV electricity production.
“These are the fixed targets that we have to achieve if we want to finally get out of oil and gas. However, this will not work under the current framework conditions. The federal, state and local governments must finally take the brakes off the expansion of PV.” says Herbert Paierl, Chairman of the Board of Photovoltaic Austria. Source: PHOTOVOLTAIC AUSTRIA
